The Office of the Faculty Ombuds offers assistance in the informal resolution of campus-related conflicts. We advocate for fair treatment and process. We follow four distinctive principles:

Peggie R. Smith, JD, is available by appointment to talk with any Danforth Campus faculty colleagues who seek a safe place to discuss concerns about interactions with others at the university, its policies or its procedures. We seek to understand such concerns, answer questions and consider options, including possible referral to other offices or resources.
